But maintaining the blade at home is our realm.

1. [Before using the knife] Use sharpening steel to sweep the blade 5 times.
2. Wash immediately [after using a knife] and wipe with a dishcloth.
Sticking to these two things can increase the life of knives.
Still, it's good to leave the knife to an expert every six months.
