How often are you sharpening the knife? 🤔
Did you know that it is rather dangerous if the knife is not right? It takes more power to cut food with a blunt knife. In the case of a tough onion peel, the blade will slide easily and hurt your fingers. ☹ You have to sharpen your knife more often than you think.
At least once every two months!
There are three ways to sharpen the knife, but we only recommend the first.
Method 1: whetstone (Recommended!) 👍
This is the most recommended method. Not only does it make the best blades, but it also cuts the minimum metal. When you cook with a well-groomed knife using a whetstone, the difference is incredible. Whetstone uses water or oil. I like whetstone using water.
Method 2: Electric knife sharpening 👎
Use only those who want to send the sword to the other world. We recommend that you never use this method. First of all, if you use this, the metal of the blade will wear out extremely. Even if you use it ten times, the metal will wear out 0.5cm, and the knife's balance will be destroyed. Just don't use it.
Method 3: Expert
expensive. 😱The burden is high because you have to change the knife frequently. And if they aren't the best experts, most of them use grinding wheels, which cut the metal more than necessary.
